We are currently looking for aDelivery Truck Driver. The primary responsibility of this position requires safelydrivinga straight frame flatbed delivery truck for the transportation of hardscape walls and pavers, operation of a mofett forklift, attention to safe loading and unloading at a variety of job sites, and maintaining a clean truck both inside and out.

If you have a love for driving trucks but want to be home every night, this could be the perfect position for you! This position is Monday-Fridaywith very occasional Saturdays and regular overtime is incurred. No overnight travel.

* Please note that this position requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities  

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Safely drive truck (automatic transmission) to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roads
• Handle and maneuver truck controls and moffett forklift for safe loading and unloading of material
• Communicate with yard personnel before leaving the plant to ensure delivery to the correct customer and job site
• Keep equipment in acceptable condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies
• Maintain contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions
• Cooperate and promote a team concept with all other company employees, as well as customers
• Perform other duties as needed

Licenses and Certificates

• Must have a Class A Commercial Driver's License

• As a representative of the company, you must be courteous, friendly, and kind to all customers, vendors, fellow employees
• Driving can be dangerous so you must be the type of person who never cuts corners, especially in regards to safety
