Lead the Sales Engineering (SE) team for i2c
Ensure quality delivery, either directly or through the SE team, of the following tasks:
Prepare and deliver solution concept documents that capture detail scope of client needs
Prepare and deliver in-depth technical presentations
Elicit, analyze, elaborate, and document prospect/customer business requirements, including functional, usability, and nonfunctional requirements
Review and understand existing client and prospect systems design/architecture and provide recommendations for supporting prospect business requirements
Deliver standard and customized product demonstrations in support of client and prospect sales opportunities
Contribute to the technical responses to questions in RFIs/RFPs
Assist in developing proposals, including solution proposals containing high-level scopes of work for potential services delivered
Opportunity assessment, competitive analysis, strategy, and expectation setting
Review of technical notes, when required, that are appropriate for viewing by both prospects and existing customers
Proactive communication of both challenges and opportunities to Product leadership as well as key internal partners such as Sales, Marketing, and Solutions Engineering
Creation of technical architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, process flows, and integration specifications
Establishment and maintenance of excellent working relationships with other i2c departments
Education: Bachelors
Experience: 12+
Payments, Banking, and Fintech Knowledge
Experience in the banking technology sector and understanding of SaaS solutions.
Sound understanding of payment industry technologies, software, and systems
Experience with credit, debit, prepaid, and other payment products
Experience with issuing, issuer processing, and core banking
Experience with fraud prevention and risk management
Experience with regulatory compliance
Domain Expertise and Business Skills
Has worked as a sales engineer for a payment processing, fintech, or related company serving banks, credit unions, and fintech
Has led a sales engineering team in any of the above sectors/industries
Has developed, delivered, and enhanced client demos as part of a sales process
Soft Skills and Intangibles
Demonstrated ability to lead geographically distributed Sales Engineering teams, motivate, coach, and attract talent
Ability to work with clients, prospects, and industry partners in a solution-focused, culturally sensitive, and sales-oriented manner
Ability to rapidly learn, demonstrate, and communicate product knowledge
Excellent executive communicator, strong storyteller, and strategic thinker
Specific Tools, Technologies, or Equipment Skills
Proficient in MS Office and web collaboration technologies
