Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Document Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a robust understanding of pipeline right-of-way projects and who excels in managing detailed documentation with precision. If you are a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of handling multiple tasks independently, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and manage time effectively to cover all phases of pipeline right-of-way projects, from line list development to construction.
Maintain up-to-date, accurate records on project statuses.
Manage essential right-of-way documents, including but not limited to, land acquisition easements, temporary workspace agreements, and compensation documents.
Ensure compliance with courthouse recording requirements.
Maintain organized hard files for easements, lease documents, real estate deeds, and other pertinent documents.
Generate system line lists as needed.
Perform in-house right-of-way and title searches.
Digitize documents and maintain client system records, including adding specific metadata.
Review and interpret land acquisition agreements accurately.
Use Microsoft Office tools proficiently, particularly MS Excel and MS Word, and quickly adapt to new software systems.
Experience with Quorum, ThoughtTrace, and GIS is preferred.
Utilize advanced report generation techniques and optimize them through formula/equation statements.
Prioritize tasks efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in proofreading, ensuring all reports and data are complete and accurate.
Utilize standard office equipment effectively.
Qualifications:
Minimum three (3) years of experience in preparing and processing right-of-way acquisition easement documents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Professional demeanor and ability to relate well to people from various backgrounds.
Work Environment:
This is a remote position that requires a dedicated and secure workspace. As a full-time role, it demands a significant commitment to ensuring project timelines and objectives are achieved efficiently.
