Role: Donor Database Manager

What You'll Do:
CRM Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our donor CRM, ensuring all donor records are accurate and up-to-date.
Data Integrity: Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain data accuracy, manage communication preferences, and enhance overall database effectiveness.
Database Audits: Regularly audit and correct any discrepancies in the database to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Quality Assurance: Implement data quality assurance processes, including data cleansing and validation to maintain high standards.
Reporting: Create and manage queries, reports, and dashboards to track donor engagement, fundraising metrics, and financial reporting.
System Improvement: Act as the liaison to the IT department to identify and implement system improvements and integrations.
Training & Support: Train and support staff on essential database functions, ensuring they can access and use data effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Donor Development to track fundraising progress, campaign outcomes, and donor trends.
Communication Oversight: Manage non-marketing digital donor communications through the CRM.
What We're Looking For:
Commitment: A strong understanding of and alignment with our mission and values.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a Donor Database Manager role, ideally in a nonprofit or philanthropic setting.
Skills: Proficiency with donor database software (e.g., Virtuous, Raiser's Edge, DonorPerfect, Salesforce), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and experience with data visualization tools.
Organizational Skills: Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong time management skills and professionalism.
