This is a union role and the pay rate is $33.76/hour Shift: Monday - Friday 6 am - 2 pm Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices and assemblies referring to engineering specs, prints, layouts and/or verbal instructions.
Key Responsibilities - Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing, physical dimensions, outputs and adjustable parameters and record non-adjustable parameters.
- Use a variety of manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
- Calculate raw data and adjust/calibrate assemblies to achieve the final specification as required.
- Check faulty assemblies using mechanical checking equipment.
- Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and method of repair.
- Disassembles, replaces parts, readjust and reassemble devices to complete repairs.
- Perform electronic troubleshooting at the level consistent with the schooling required as indicated at the end of this job description.
- Embrace and engage in the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) including activities, but not limited to Safety & Behavioral Observation Process (BOP), 5S, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Tiered Accountability Process, Standard Work, Rapid Problem Solving (RPS), Built In Quality (BIQ), Coaching, Total productive Maintenance (TPM) and Knowledge Sharing.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE - AAS of Electronics Degree, or 2-year degree, from accredited college or university OR related military training
- Successful completion of Honeywell classroom and/or on the job certification or qualification programs is required once hired.
WE VALUE - 3+ years of electronic tech industry experience
- Light physical effort setting up electrical equipment in a group of inspectors who check light electrical parts.
- Occasionally lift light or average weight material.
- Safety glasses with sideshields required.
- Good eyesight required. Must meet minimum vision requirements of occupational test for far vision (Snellen), near vision (Jaeger), color perception and depth perception.
- Good finger dexterity.
- Good working conditions. May be required to work in a clean room.
