Get more details below! ~ Worksite Location: Columbia, SC What you’ll do as the Finance Manager: Support the Sales and Marketing team to create, own, and manage planning, reporting, and forecasting across all customers Operate as an integral member of the commercial organization involved in the day-to-day impactful business decisions and processes Lead the financial forecasting and evaluation of sales initiatives including customer proposals, promotions, and terms negotiations. Manage the monthly sales estimate process from invoice sales through standard cost Analyze monthly promotional spend actuals by customer and product line to ensure sales forecast is aligned with plan, as well as ensure forecasting reflects changes to phasing Develop and prepare monthly sales-related KPIs and reports to support business-wide performance reviews Prepare written commentary for the Executive Leadership Team through presentations of monthly operating results and strategic direction. Make recommendations to drive optimal strategic results and be prepared to support conclusions through sound data analysis Obtain, analyze, and provide key data presented in our business planning process Monitor timeliness and completeness of strategic analysis and data submitted and streamline processes Recommend cost containment strategies and efficiencies What you need to become a Finance Manager: ~ Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance ~6+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field ~ Possess a thorough understanding of financial statements and relationships between income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements ~ Very strong PC skills and proficiency with various applications; MS Excel, Hyperion, Qlikview, and SAP Production & Business Warehouse environments ~ Cross-functional teamwork experience ~ Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously ~ Self-motivated in achieving goals and completing routine tasks ~ Clear written and verbal communication skills Take the first step on your new career path!
