Mortgage Loan Originator

As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will play a key role in helping home buyers, existing homeowners, and real estate investors achieve their homeownership and investment goals. In this role, you will guide borrowers through every step of the mortgage process, from application to approval, while offering expert advice on a wide variety of loan products. Your work will be crucial in ensuring borrowers secure the right financing options tailored to their needs.

You will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating loan applications, conducting thorough underwriting assessments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. By staying informed about the latest industry trends and products, you'll be able to offer clients the best possible solutions for their individual situations.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with prospective home buyers, current homeowners, and real estate investors to assess their mortgage financing needs.
Analyze loan applications and conduct underwriting assessments to ensure each application meets regulatory and company standards.
Advise clients on various loan products, helping them make informed decisions that best fit their needs.
Guide clients through the entire loan origination process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from start to finish.
Stay up-to-date on the latest mortgage trends, products, and regulations to provide expert guidance.
Ensure full compliance with relevant laws and regulations throughout the loan process.
Foster positive, lasting relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:

Strong understanding of underwriting processes, standards, and guidelines.
Proven experience in loan origination and mortgage lending, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Proficiency in analyzing loan applications and assessing borrower eligibility.
Solid understanding of various loan products, including FHA, VA, conventional, and other mortgage options.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and approachable manner.
High attention to detail and the ability to work with accuracy and efficiency.
Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
Must hold or be eligible for an MLO State License in Florida and/or Ohio.
