Job Description

KIT Custom HomeBuilders has an immediate opening for a full-time Field Service Technician serving customers in the Idaho, Oregon, and Washington service area. Competitive pay package includes hourly pay starting from $23 - $24.00+ per hour (DOE) as well as a daily per-diem allowance, paid travel expenses, a company vehicle, and tools are provided. This is a full-time travel position which requires being on the road for up to 10 days at a time.

Primary Duties:
Completes repairs and in-home warranty service in customer homes. Travels to home locations and interacts with homeowners as well as company Service Department. Performs service repairs for all areas of construction including finish trim work, cabinetry, flooring (laminate, tile, and vinyl), drywall tape & texture, painting, siding, roofing, windows/doors, as well as basic electrical and plumbing.

Requirements:
Must have strong communication skills, self-motivated, be a team player, and reliable.
Construction or remodeling experience is required.
Proven experience with carpentry, plumbing, drywall and electrical work desired.
Experience with warranty work is helpful.
Knowledge of or experience with manufactured housing is preferred.
Ability to give attention to detail and complete repairs with a professional finish.
Able to work with remote supervision and make decisions independently.
Experience with providing customer service, explaining technical solutions, and resolving issues.
Able to travel extensively throughout Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL is not required), a clean driving record, and be able to obtain a DOT medical card.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
