The Kohler Art Library, a branch library of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries, supports the teaching and research needs of the university's Departments of Art, Art History, and Design Studies. Located adjacent to the Chazen Museum of Art, the library is ideally positioned to foster connections between academic programs and one of the Midwest's leading art museums. The library houses over 150,000 volumes, including a nationally recognized collection of artists' books, exhibition catalogs, and rare materials that attract scholars and students from across disciplines. Annual programming offered by the Art Library includes the Bernstein Book Arts Lecture, multiple exhibits, and public open houses.

Master's Degree (Library & Information Science, Education, or related field) or equivalent certification or years of experience in a similar role
Undergraduate or Master's degree in art, art history, or design
Required Qualifications:
-Demonstrated competencies in art, art history, design or related fields
-Experience or demonstrated interest in providing instruction in an academic, art, or museum setting
-Experience or interest in outreach or collaborative programming
-Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
Full Time: 100%
This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. Typical daytime work hours roughly 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday. This is essentially an in-person position with flexibility to work remotely up to two days a week or to work a flexed schedule, with on-site responsibilities a priority.Ongoing/Renewable
