Job Description

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce management solutions, committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities. Eastridge is hiring a Litigation Legal Assistant for a leading Am Law 200 firm known for delivering exceptional legal services to clients nationwide for their downtown Los Angeles office. The Litigation Legal Assistant should have 2+ years of experience . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment while contributing to high-profile litigation matters.

Position Overview:

The Litigation Legal Assistant will support attorneys and paralegals in all aspects of litigation, including case management, document preparation, and administrative tasks. This is a hybrid role, with two days per week remote after an on-site training period of two weeks .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and discovery materials.
  • File documents electronically in both state and federal courts (e-filing).
  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate attorney calendars, including scheduling court dates, depositions, and client meetings.
  • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and other materials for hearings and depositions.
  • Assist with client communications and document requests.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of litigation experience in a law firm or legal department setting.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures.
  • Proficiency in legal software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, document management systems).
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Work Schedule:

  • First 2 weeks: On-site in the Downtown LA office for training.
  • After training: Hybrid schedule with 2 remote workdays per week.
