Job Description

Job Purpose:

We're looking for a dedicated individual to help us enhance our revenue by managing and resolving outstanding medical claims. Your role will involve following established protocols to ensure that claims are handled promptly and accurately. This includes verifying coding and payment details to meet client requirements and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely and complete payment of claims.
Research, correct, and resubmit claims or appeals as needed.
Address any payment discrepancies with insurance companies.
Process and document adjustments, including write-offs, transfers, and chargebacks across multiple platforms.
Provide additional information to clients to support the collection process.
Analyze insurance reimbursement receipts to ensure accuracy.
Protect sensitive information by adhering to professional standards and complying with company policies, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements:

Previous experience in medical billing is required.
Strong understanding of medical billing terminology and processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to analyze information effectively.
Strong documentation and time management skills.
Focused on delivering quality results.
Basic math skills are necessary.

Salary: $ 16.00 21.00 Per Hour
