Ophthalmology Associates, S.C. located in Greenfield, Wisconsin is hiring a full time and part time Ophthalmic Scribe . We are passionate about patient care and dedicated to improving quality of life through life-changing vision procedures and treatments. Preferred applicants will have medical scribing experience, but we are willing to train the right applicant. Excellent customer service skills are a must!!
Position Summary:
The Scribe assists the doctor with documentation of the patient exam into the patient's chart. The Scribe may also be asked to perform special ophthalmologic tests including visual acuity, applanation tonometry, pachymetry, visual fields, corneal topography, OCTs, lensometry, and other tests as directed. We will provide training on how to perform special testing.
Individual should be capable of working in dim lighting, can provide accurate documentation, is detailed oriented, and able to stand most of the day. Must be comfortable working with primarily elderly patients. Great health, dental, and 401K benefit package for full-time employees. Hourly rate depends on experience.
Note: We have office locations in Greenfield, Cudahy, and New Berlin and we offer Four Day and Five-Day Full-Time Options. Some travel is required mid-day on certain days of the week.
