This role is ideal for truly exceptional individuals who are either about to complete their undergraduate degree within the next year or have graduated within the last six months at the time of application. Our team spans more than 70 countries worldwide, and our HR department plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless application of policies, processes, and compliance. As an Associate HR Generalist, you will support our APAC region by coordinating and driving HR activities and processes. What You'll Do:
Provide HR support by responding to team members' questions and requests regarding employment and contracts, escalating issues as necessary. Inquiries may include the new starter process, onboarding, global benefits, employment verifications, and other general topics.
Maintain our HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring high accuracy and timely processing of all team member changes and new hires.
Lead and manage global projects, such as engagement, training, or culture initiatives.
Partner with managers and employees to support HR processes and drive the people strategy within your areas of responsibility.
Collaborate with colleagues across regions, especially leads, managers, and executives, to deliver HR services on a global scale.
Process new hires, including country-specific onboarding documentation, file creation, system setup, and coordination of introductory reviews.
Support employees with benefits enrollment and payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate monthly data submissions.
Coordinate with payroll to ensure smooth and timely salary payments.
Create purchase orders for internal departments.
Conduct regular audits of employment files and systems to ensure they are up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with regulations such as GDPR.
Continuously seek ways to improve HR processes, identifying areas for enhancement to drive the function forward.
Manage and conduct global background checks.
What We're Looking For:
An outstanding academic record from both high school and, preferably, university.
Experience in an entry-level HR/People team role is beneficial, especially in the Technology sector.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ability to prioritize complex workloads, manage time effectively, and work well under pressure.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a clear focus on accuracy.
High level of integrity, honesty, and the ability to handle confidential information.
Flexible attitude and adaptability to change.
Willingness to take the initiative and contribute ideas to enhance the role and team's success.
Ambition to grow your career within HR.
Willingness to travel up to four times a year for internal events.
