Nurse Practitioner - Trauma Team

Location: Richmond, VA
Type: Direct Hire

Join a renowned Level 1 trauma hospital as part of their exceptional trauma team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ideal for experienced Nurse Practitioners or new graduates with relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide advanced care for trauma patients as part of a dedicated trauma team.
Work closely with attending physicians and multidisciplinary staff in a hospital-based setting.
Assist with high-volume trauma cases, including ICU-level care.
Perform 12-hour shifts, averaging approximately 15 shifts per month.

Qualifications:

Required:

Trauma experience : Candidates must have trauma-related experience, either as a Nurse Practitioner or as a Registered Nurse in the ICU.
ATLS certification required.
First assist experience is preferred but not mandatory.

New Graduates:

New graduates will be considered if they completed clinical rotations in trauma or have ICU nursing experience.

Benefits:

Compensation: $135,000 - $165,000/year.
