The Disney Experiences (DX) Professional Recruitment team leads all aspects of professional recruitment including creative professionals and Imagineers. Our team is responsible for attracting and identifying sought-after talent in the marketplace and bringing them to Disney Experiences. You will develop inclusive recruitment strategies, lead full life-cycle recruitment, employ innovative sourcing techniques, champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, and maintain the highest standards of candidate experience and client account management. If selected for this role, you will report to our Manager, Professional Recruitment, and will be on-site in Glendale, CA.

What You Will Do

  • Lead full life cycle recruitment from sourcing and job posting to offer
  • Translate business needs into executable staffing plans
  • Develop innovative recruitment strategies to attract and build inclusive talents slates for all positions
  • Employ innovative techniques to convert passive talent into viable candidates
  • Champion and influence hiring leaders and key partners on the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Advocate for career mobility by providing coaching, feedback, and mentorship to internal talent
  • Review market data, competitive intelligence, and talent trends to build dynamic and inclusive candidate slates
  • Be a brand ambassador by providing an outstanding candidate experience from interview to new hire onboarding
  • Collaborate with hiring leaders and HR Business Partners to develop a solid understanding of the hiring team, their business strategy and talent profiles to best deliver on the hiring needs of the business
  • Maintain the highest standards of candidate experience and client account management, reflected in measures of success through hiring leader and candidate feedback
  • Conduct in-depth screens to assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications, and align on compensation through pay transparency
  • Partner with the Compensation team and hiring leader to build attractive and competitive job offers
  • Maintain compliance with EEO/Diversity policies
  • Actively participate in knowledge sharing events and building relationships within the Talent Acquisition community
  • Participate in or lead assigned projects that support departmental and Talent Acquisition objectives (Candidate, Career, Culture, Community)

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Full life cycle recruiting experience with full knowledge and expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive sourcing/recruitment strategies for creative roles (e.g., Producers, Designers, Artists)
  • Experience using social media tools such as LinkedIn for marketing, networking, and sourcing
  • Demonstrated success in achieving recruitment objectives including time-to-fill, volume, quality, diversity, and internal hiring objectives
  • Successful working in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are the norm
  • Enjoy developing strong working relationships with clients and peers regardless of geography
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Experience working in an autonomous environment
  • Ability to think creatively to find solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to appropriately manage sensitive and confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience reviewing candidate portfolios and demo reels
  • Experience using various Talent Acquisition systems such as Workday, Beamery, Schedule Olivia, etc.
  • Proficient in utilizing various reporting tools such as Excel, Google Docs, Smartsheet, Airtable, etc., to track candidate and requisition metrics
  • Experience developing and telling data-driven stories
  • Themed entertainment experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related Human Resources field or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $113,600 to $138,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
