The Role

We have an immediate opportunity for an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team in Pasadena, CA.

As a Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be a key member to the Electrical team, working with engineers to build and troubleshoot new concepts, prototypes and production systems under development. You will be directly responsible for manufacturing and assembling cables/harnesses, industrial electrical cabinets, and testing electrical systems.  

Key responsibilities:

• Familiar with AC Power, 120VAC/208VAC, and DC-DC power supplies.
• Working knowledge of Circuit Breakers, Relays, Motors, USB Communication, Transformers, Cameras, Proximity Sensors,  Terminal Blocks, GFCI, PLC… 
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly which includes point-to-point wiring, wiring cable harness layout, and mechanical assembly.
• Uses various types of hand tools in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Soldering experience required, surface mount soldering is a plus
• Ability to read electrical wiring drawings to wire the equipment
• Uses and interprets electrical drawings to layout required equipment and materials prior to starting assembly.
• Inspects assembled work prior to final inspection, using drawings and checklists.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read and interpret Electrical and mechanical drawings, including bills of materials.
• Experience using various hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to Commute daily to and work at our Pasadena, CA location.
• High School/Trade School Graduate, AA degree desirable.

Compensation 

$60,000-$80,000/yr + Equity + Benefits

The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base salary range for candidates residing in the Los Angeles Metro area and excludes additional earnings such as bonus and benefits. If your salary requirements fall outside of the range, we still encourage you to apply.
