**Job Title: Senior Multi-Employer Plan Administrator**
**Summary / Objective:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Multi-Employer Plan Administrator to join our dynamic retirement plan administration team. This crucial role involves overseeing transaction processing, compliance testing, and filings for Defined Contribution and Multi-Employer retirement plans. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional with a deep understanding of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations related to qualified retirement plans.
**Essential Functions:**
As the primary point of contact for Taft-Hartley/Multi-Employer Plans, you will actively prepare for and attend Board meetings, providing expertise on complex retirement plan matters. Your role will involve interpreting plan documents, offering plan design consulting, and ensuring the smooth operation of various plan administration processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Interpret plan documents and provide expert consulting for new plans and amendments.
- Deliver high-quality customer support, manage plan conversions, and oversee compliance testing.
- Complete tax filings, including 5500, 8955-SSA, 5330 forms, and support audit processes.
- Perform annual compliance and nondiscrimination testing.
- Engage in daily trading, trust reconciliation, payroll processing, and loan/distribution processing as needed.
- Additional responsibilities may include other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
- Strong attention to detail, with preferred experience in Defined Contribution plans and Schwab Retirement Technologies (SRT).
- Exceptional communication skills, deadline-oriented, and adept at critical thinking.
- Strong numeric and accounting proficiency, with advanced Excel skills.
- Preferred credentials include ASPPA, NIPA, or CEBS certification or equivalent experience.
**Work Environment:**
This role offers flexibility for hybrid or remote work arrangements, depending on the candidate's location and business needs. Occasional on-site meetings or in-office days may be required, especially during critical project deadlines, audits, or board meetings.
