Job Description

The Providence College Theology Department invites applications for multiple visiting assistant professor appointments for AY 2025-2026, at one-year terms (with one appointment for a semester), and with a 3-3 teaching load. Strong candidates should be prepared to teach introductory and special courses in Theology, as well as in the team-taught interdisciplinary Development of Western Civilization Program. Providence College is a primarily undergraduate, liberal arts, Catholic institution of higher education conducted under the auspices of the Dominican Friars and seeks candidates who can affirm and contribute to its Mission and encourages the deepest respect for the essential dignity, freedom, and equality of every person.
